Download a useful PDF metadata report

Choose PDF, text, CSV, JSON or ZIP and understand exactly what each export includes.

When this helps

You need to send a colleague the findings or keep a record of a review. A useful report includes ordinary metadata even when there are no warnings. It also says which checks had finished when you exported it.

Try it in the checker

Wait for the additional-check progress message to finish. If page differences matter, run Compare PDFs first. Open Download report beside the report tabs. Choose PDF for a readable document, Text for plain text, CSV for a spreadsheet, or JSON/ZIP for detailed structured records.

The PDF contains current fields, saved versions, actions, signature results, page checks, findings and coverage. Completed comparison previews are included. It uses all available table rows, not just the rows currently expanded or matching a filter. Raw object records and XML belong in JSON/ZIP.

Read the result in context

A file with no flagged findings should still produce a report containing its properties and completed checks. If additional checks were not available at export, the report says so. Finish or retry those checks and export again when you need them.

International characters supported by the report font render normally. A character outside the font appears as an explicit Unicode code point instead of disappearing or breaking the download. Text and JSON keep the original strings.

What this cannot establish

The report identifies the inspected copy using SHA-256 when the advanced checks completed. It is not an automatic chain-of-custody record, proof of authorship or authenticity certificate. Reports can themselves contain names, old metadata or comparison text. Review the exported document before sharing it. Keep the original PDF and the JSON record when another person needs to reproduce the inspection.
