The Deal

We built Lyonite to solve annoying problems. You need tools, we built tools. Here's the agreement:

  • You: Use our tools responsibly and legally. Don't process content you don't have rights to.
  • Us: Keep the tools running, fix bugs, don't sell your data.
  • Reality check: Software has bugs. Servers go down. We try hard, but we're human.
  • If things go wrong: We're liable for what you paid (if anything). That's it.
  • Refunds: 7-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy.

1. Accepting These Terms

By using Lyonite (the website, tools, or any of our services), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use our stuff.

"You" means you, the person using our tools. "We," "us," "our" means Lyonite, operated by 102040291 Saskatchewan Ltd.

Updates to these terms:

  • Email (if you have an account)
  • Banner on the website
  • Updated "Last modified" date

2. Who Can Use Lyonite

You can use our tools if:

  • You're at least 13 years old
  • You can legally enter into a contract
  • You're not banned from using our services
  • You're not prohibited by law from accessing our site

3. What You Can and Can't Do

You CAN:

  • • Use our tools for personal projects or work
  • • Process content you created or have rights to
  • • Create backups of your own files
  • • Convert formats for compatibility
  • • Download freely available content
  • • Share links to Lyonite
  • • Give us feedback or report bugs

You CAN'T:

  • • Process copyrighted content without permission
  • • Abuse or overload our servers
  • • Try to hack or exploit vulnerabilities
  • • Bypass paywalls or rate limits
  • • Resell access to our tools
  • • Scrape our site to build a competitor
  • • Upload malware or malicious code
  • • Share your account credentials

Consequences of violations:

If you break these rules, we can ban your account immediately, no refund. For serious violations (hacking attempts, illegal content), we may report you to authorities.

4. Copyright and Content Responsibility

YOU are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process any content you use with our tools.

You're responsible for:

  • Having rights to content you process
  • Complying with copyright laws in your country
  • Using processed content legally
  • Not violating third-party rights or terms of service

Prohibited content:

You may NOT use our tools to process:

  • Copyrighted content you don't have rights to
  • Content that circumvents DRM or copy protection
  • Content that violates someone else's intellectual property
  • Illegal content
  • Malware or malicious code

5. Account Management

Free Tier:

  • No account required
  • 10 processes per day
  • Limits reset at midnight UTC
  • No SLA or uptime guarantee

Token Packs:

  • Purchase tokens to use across all tools
  • 1 token = 1 process (any tool)
  • Tokens never expire
  • Priority support for token holders
  • Available packs: $5 (10K), $10 (30K), $20 (100K)

6. Pricing, Payments, and Refunds

Current Pricing:

  • Free: 10 processes per day
  • Starter Pack: $5 for 10,000 tokens
  • Pro Pack: $10 for 30,000 tokens
  • Power Pack: $20 for 100,000 tokens (Best Value)

1 token = 1 process. Tokens work across all tools and never expire. Full details in our Refund Policy.

Payment Terms:

  • All token purchases are one-time payments
  • No automatic renewals or recurring charges
  • Tokens are added to your account immediately after purchase
  • 7-day money-back guarantee on all token purchases
  • Payments processed securely through Paddle

7. Service Availability and Uptime

What We Promise:

  • Target uptime: 99%+
  • Response to outages: Within 1 hour during business hours
  • Bug fixes: Critical bugs within 24 hours

What We Don't Promise:

  • 100% uptime (impossible)
  • Error-free operation (bugs exist)
  • Compatibility with every browser/device

8. Limitation of Liability

We're Not Liable For:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages from using or being unable to use our tools
  • Third-party actions
  • Any damages over the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

Translation: If something goes wrong, the most we'll owe you is what you paid us (if anything). We're not responsible if you get in legal trouble for processing copyrighted content.

9. Termination

We Can Terminate Your Access If:

  • You violate these terms
  • You attempt to hack or exploit our systems
  • Your actions harm other users or our service
  • We're legally required to
  • You conduct fraudulent activity

You Can Leave Anytime:

To cancel:

  1. Free tier: Just stop using the site
  2. Token account: Your tokens remain until you use them or delete your account
  3. Delete account: Settings → Delete Account (permanent, unused tokens are forfeited)
