Our Manifesto

The Web Used To Be Simple.

Somewhere along the way, the internet turned into a maze of cookie banners, fake download buttons, and subscription traps.
We're building the tools we missed using.

Why we are doing this

You know the feeling. You search for a simple file converter, and the first five results are filled with ads that look like download buttons. You finally find the real button, and it asks you to sign up for a "free trial."

We are developers who got tired of that.

Lyonite isn't a venture-backed startup trying to become a unicorn. It's a digital workshop. We build utilities because we need them ourselves, and we polish them because we respect the craft.

The "Anti-Pattern" List

  • No fake download buttons
  • No 'Subscribe to unlock' mid-task
  • No selling user data
  • No 10-page slideshows for one answer
  • No notifications asking for permission

The Code We Live By

Principles over profits.

Craftsmanship

We'd rather have 5 tools that work perfectly than 50 that break randomly. Every line of code is written with intent.

Privacy is Default

We don't want your data. We don't track you across the web. Files are processed and deleted immediately.

Speed Matters

Tools should be instant. We invest in high-performance serverless infrastructure to ensure zero lag.

Sustainable

We are honest about money. We use light ads and optional one-time payments to cover server costs. No hidden agendas.

User Respect

We treat you like an intelligent human being, not a metric to be optimized or a lead to be captured.

Automation

We automate the boring stuff so you can focus on the creative stuff. That's the promise of computers, isn't it?

Built In Public

We believe in radical transparency. Here is exactly how Lyonite is built and run.

The Stack

  • Next.js 14 (App Router)
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • Serverless Edge Functions

Business Model

  • Free Tier: Generous limits
  • Paid: $10 Lifetime
  • No recurring subscriptions

Help us build what you need

We build based on real emails, not algorithms. If there's a tool you wish existed, tell us.
