Web layouts do not always fit a PDF: text can end up tiny, oversized or out of place. Lyonite adjusts unusual text sizes and page width automatically, then flows longer documents across pages. If something still needs attention, edit the text directly on the page or adjust the HTML and layout before saving.
Readable text is on by default. It brings unusually small or large body text toward a 14–20 px reading size (about 10.5–15 pt in the PDF), while keeping headings larger and small notes separate. The outer wrapper fits the page width, and long documents continue onto new pages instead of shrinking onto one sheet. Turn off Readable text or Fit to page width in Page setup to preserve more of the source design. Complex layouts can still need adjustment.
Yes. Click text on the page to edit it directly—the visual (WYSIWYG) editor updates the HTML too. Select words within a passage to use bold or italic, or add a paragraph. Edit HTML opens automatically prettified source beside the preview, with live updates and Undo/Redo. Adjust layout controls content scale, position, margins, orientation and A4 or US Letter paper. Images and individual layout elements can be changed through HTML and CSS.
Red text, page edges and page markers flag content extending beyond the paper. Show next reviews affected pages; Auto fit checks all pages and limits automatic scaling to keep ordinary text readable. If everything cannot fit without tiny text, the tool explains what to adjust. You can still set content scale manually. View zoom only changes the screen preview. Guides and warning colours never appear in the PDF.
HTML files and pasted code are processed on your device, with no document uploads or conversion requests to a server. The site downloads its own code when you first open it. Once the offline indicator says Offline ready, file/code conversion and editing also work without an internet connection, including after reopening this page. Keep CSS and images embedded in your HTML; external assets are not fetched in file/code mode. Browser storage must remain available. Website URL imports need a connection and use our server to fetch the public page and supported assets.
Choose Website URL to import a public HTTP or HTTPS page. The server fetches static HTML and supported images, fonts and CSS, then your device creates the preview. Pages requiring login, JavaScript or access that the website blocks may be incomplete. Inline CSS, style tags, print styles and explicit page breaks are supported. Scripts and interactive embeds are removed; unavailable content is explained in the preview. Files and pasted code support up to 5 MB, 15,000 elements and 500 pages.
Select Save PDF and choose Save as PDF in your browser’s print dialog. Match the preview’s paper size, use 100% print scale and no extra margins, and turn off browser headers and footers. Enable background graphics for coloured panels. Safari uses the PDF menu; mobile save and share options depend on the browser and operating system. The layout adapts to small screens; choose Whole page in View or pan within the preview. Ordinary text stays selectable rather than becoming a screenshot. PDF accessibility tags are not guaranteed.
Choose Organize pages, save this preview as PDF, then select the saved file. The organizer can reorder, remove, duplicate and rotate pages, insert blank pages, and add other PDFs or images. Your HTML draft stays available separately. Later HTML edits do not silently change the organized PDF; resume that version or explicitly replace it with a newly saved PDF.
